[Race Thread] Men's Olympic XC Mountain Biking

It's pretty crazy how he qualified. He started his first race way in the back of the back because it was his first race as a senior. He battled his way up to fifth and would have done better if not for a technical problem. Then in his second event, he finished second in the short track and won the long race by over a minute. Olympic qualifying is weird and each country gets a certain number of entries based on their position in the overall world standings. Going into this year, GB wasn't ranked high enough to enter any men into the Olympics, but Pidcock's win was enough to move them up the rank and get him in.
Pidcock is clearly on another level and would dominate the sport for a decade, except for the fact the money is in road racing, so he's only going to do a few races a year.
